Fairer Funding for Cornish Schools

Cornish schools are cruelly under-funded thanks to Boris Johnson’s Conservative government. The average child in a Cornish secondary school is given £209 less (primary £101 less) by the Conservatives for the education than the national average. Schools and teachers need more money to give our children the education that they deserve.

Danny Chambers, the Lib Dem candidate to be the next MP for North Cornwall, has worked as a lecturer, written for New Scientist and is passionate about education. Following the Brexit vote, it’s only right that Cornwall gets the extra money for its children that the Conservatives promised.
