Support Ukrainian Refugees

A terrible human tragedy is unfolding in Ukraine.

Thousands are desperately fleeing before it is too late, especially LGBT+ people, journalists and activists who fear persecution at the hands of Russian forces. The UK has a proud history of supporting those who flee war and persecution. We cannot turn our back on Ukraine.

The UK Government must commit to:

  • An ambitious commitment to resettle Ukrainian refugees in the UK.
  • Scrapping the law that criminalises Ukrainian refugees coming here to claim asylum.
  • A five-year funding package for every person a local council resettles.

The UK must support those in Ukraine fleeing war and persecution.
